I was so glad to have found this artist again, I saw her work On Etsy before and fell in love.
Helen Musselwhite, is an amazing artist, who utilizes bold color and strong graphic lines with familiar images and hand crafts her art with perfect precision and beauty. Each Piece combines the hand cutting, folding and scoring of a wide range of papers and card that are further worked on to create patterned and textured surfaces. Then they are used to build scens in box frames which are often complex and consist of many layers. Each item is truly individual with no two pieces the same. Influenced by the natural world each piece is manipulated to be an intriguing place, a glimpse into another world of fiction and fairytale.
